Cold-store and deep-freeze warehouses represent particular challenges for builders and planners. Absolute airtightness and excellent insulation performance are required to ensure energy-efficient operation. Another essential criterion may be the use of physiologically harmless surface coatings.

With the improved insulation performance of the ROMA5 optimized foam system, you can achieve a U-value of 0.1 W/m²K with insulation thicknesses of up to 220 mm. In freezers, airtightness plays a particularly important role. The required air exchange rates up to absolute airtightness can be achieved with ROMAplast. In addition – like all ROMA panels – the ROMA5 panels can be installed quickly and easily without pressing tools.
This combines outstanding energy efficiency with exceptional economy during construction and operation.

In addition to our own ROMA EPD, our building certification will also be supplemented by our extensive environmental certificates, such as LEED and BREEAM fact sheets and ISO 14001.

The highlight: The standard range is also available with a climate-friendly polyurethane insulating core. For this purpose, sustainably certified biomass was used in the precursor production. Based on organic waste to reduce resource consumption without any fossil raw materials, its CO² balance, and thus your assessment for building certification, is again significantly improved.

Ausnutria’s cold-store warehouse in the Netherlands involved special challenges in terms of on-time delivery of elements for the various stages of construction. The 50,000 m² P panels were used not only for the facade and interior walls, but also for the roof and ceiling.
